Welcome to Smart Trips Neighborhoods!

Welcome to Smart Trips Neighborhoods! We’re so glad you dropped by. We encourage you to try making some of your daily trips by bike, by bus, or on foot. Whether you want to save money on gas, find a way to fit some physical activity into your busy schedule, or just get to know your neighbors better, we’re here to help!family walking and biking

We chose North Knoxville to kick off this new program because North Knoxville is a great place to walk, bike and take transit. Biking is comfortable on the local streets and there are bike lanes along Central. Sidewalks cover most of the streets in this area, and the area is served by five bus routes.

The Neighborhoods program covers:

  • Belle Morris
  • Edgewood Park
  • Fairmont/Emoriland
  • Fourth & Gill
  • Oakwood/Lincoln Park
  • Old North Knoxville
