Taking the Bus

Knoxville Area Transit—KAT—operates a full fleet of buses. Many of their buses are equipped with bike racks. So it is possible to bike part of the way and bus the rest of the way.

LIFT is a KAT program that provides transportation for persons with disabilities. LIFT customers must be eligible under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and certified by KAT. For more information about LIFT, call 865-215-7850.
